Each year, millions of dollars are lodged in the Victorian Unclaimed Money Register, which we administer. Unclaimed money includes share dividends, salaries and wages, rents and bonds, debentures and interest, unpresented cheques and trust money.
We also hold unclaimed winnings from Tattslotto, Intralot and TAB tickets bought in Victoria that have remained unclaimed for six months or more.
In 2018-19, we reunited $16.6 million with rightful owners via 18,393 claims against the Unclaimed Money Register.
