In 2018-19, we collected more than $19.1 billion in revenue, including from:
- Payroll tax
- Land transfer duty, including foreign purchaser additional duty, and other duties
- Land tax, including the vacant residential land tax and the absentee owner surcharge
- Fire services property levy
- Commercial passenger vehicle service levy
- Congestion levy
- Growth areas infrastructure contribution
- Metropolitan planning levy
- Wagering and betting tax
We also paid out a total of $273.4 million, comprising amounts related to:
- First Home Owner Grants
- Unclaimed money
- Liquor subsidies
- Other grants, rebates and payments, including for the Back to Work Scheme
